​Academy Goals:

Learn safe lifting techniques, gym etiquette and sports specific training

Educate young athletes about nutrition and recovery specific to football (AFL)

Create confidence to perform resistance training in the gym setting

Improve strength, cardiovascular endurance, agility and reduce the risk of injury
The basics:​

Document advising teens/parents on nutrition, recovery and exercise principles
-
Education on safe lifting, mobility and recovery
-
Resistance training (weight lifting), speed, agility, plyometrics and endurance
-
Education and training for injury prevention
-
2 sessions available per week (hybrid of gym and field work) for 20 weeks

Testing (illinois agility & Yo-Yo)
-
Access to TrainHeroic App (online PT and programming) to track progress, program and exercise routine (valued at approx. $35.00 per week)
